next 7 day song?..

Dubstep has changed a hell of a lot since I made the first Dubstep 7 day song. As far as I'm aware, they haven't got a name for dubstep with the kind of popular, harsh sounds in more conventional tracks, whereas the 7 day song is only comprised of more laid back, fun Rusko-esque sounds.

On the positive side, it does mean I have a lot of room to breathe with it

I was thinking of making something with Nero/Skrillex/Excision vibes if I could figure a way to make it mash together.

i think there calling it brostep now but im not sure,on the nero/skrillex/datsik-excision sound theres a heck of a lot of ppl out there who want to know how to make those sounds (to much imo) and the yoy,yea synth whatever you call it.

Not just filthy (though the basses I've made for it are currently making dung beetles cry about their inadequacies) but some of that gorgeous, powerful stuff too.

I think it's just modern dubstep because dave already made a dubstep one but right now he's much more experienced as back then so he want's to do it over under the excuse it's about "modern" dubstep now

I think KRS-ONE gives a decent perspective on what "HIP" is with marley marl in "hip hop lives".

I personally would like to see Dave take a dive into something utilizing primarily the sounds from a full orchestra, percussions included. Though I know most of y'all are bass or synth heads, It would be nice to see Dave tweak up an orkestra composition.
