On the other hand, the broader bracket of "happy-bouncey-dubstep", is something I think its unfair to write off in its entirety. And I mean, since Eptic started getting some extensive, mainstream recognition he's only had two EP's out I think? In this style that you guys are tired of at least, Eptic EP and Like A Boss EP. I would give the guy until his next one at least if its progression you're looking for. But then theres people like me who love what he's doing right now, I like happy, I like bouncey and, god forbid, I like filthy too. And i'm not the guy covering himself in glowstick juice, shouting about robots and starting a fight. It might be me not having been to as many gigs full of these people that it isn't as much of an issue.
In relation to this and more broadly with dubstep, I think one of the genres real assets is how quickly it evolves. The saturation means that styles like this and other become done and documented so quickly that it forces innovation and creativity in everyone else, eventually at least.
I guess what i'm trying to say is: "Waaaaa, don't say those mean things about eptic, i wub him so dearly!"
