Hey I made this beat a while back and it just happened to turn out to be a remix contest. I made it just by sampling the mp3 file and filtering it and was thinkin about remaking it with the stems, got lazy and ended up just submitting it how it was. Take a listen, take a vote and I will do the same for the other remix contests submissions on here. Community Love!

Now that was one SERIOUSLY COOL track. I have to say there was no way I was expecting that kind of change in the music - but I loved it! A funky beginning using the samples well with an awesome sounding bouncy bass line and some wicked synths? I couldn't help but bop my head up and down - it's the kind of music that wants to make you get up and dance. Definitely giving you my vote! I can't really give it much criticism, it sounded awesome! :D If I had to say anything, the change between the samples at 0:29 was a little bit dramatic, but apart from that you mixed them together really well!

Actually I really like it, the drops are amazing : ))
I'd work on the kick especially, I think there's just way too much bass in there. I mean it clicks (a little too hard as well for my taste) and punches nicely, but there's a lot of low-end rolling with it that makes everything muddy and messy, maybe try to remove that.

Snare fits in well in my opinion, the use of the samples is great : )

Cheers

That certainly wasn't the kind of drop I was expecting either!
Definitely dig it though. That's some fun bouncy goodness.
I feel like the bassline needs to be a tad louder though. Some energy seems to be lost between lead-up and the drop. And I would agree that the kick needs to be cleaned up too. You nailed it with the samples though.
Very cool.

Hey the link wasn't working when I clicked on it.
Which made me sad, I absolutely love soulful house.
