Indie doesn't necessarily mean independent in Britain. Radiohead, Coldplay, Blur, even Oasis would all be called indie despite being huge. It's a relic of the 80s when guitar pop and rock were horribly out of fashion and were indeed all on independent labels.

maybe they are from the time when mainstream bands were actually good and not just plastic products. the majority of the music was high quality. now there's good music and bad music flood.

it must be amazing to be mainstream. tell the fans to buy your records. the fans buy your records, you say you love them, they believe.. and trend you online. then you go to the movies with the loved one and rent the entire room, so there's no one else there. workout: run away from the paparazzi.

I love their melodies... A lot. They're really great.
