What the hell man? Those instruments sound dope and so good in quality, even when youtube takes it down a lot.

Must admit this is one of my favorites in the COMPISITION COMPETITION.. lol good quality, nice mix, perfect arrangement.. i like how you drop the instuments out for a beat of two and then emphasize somethin else for that moment.. enjoy the phase efffect goin on there and that one measure long FM sounding zooom that happened in the middle of the song.. cool.. or Kewl son- keep it up

I dig the syncopation. I was about to bitch about the synth in the beginning, but then it filled out and I was all happy again. Lol. I find the transitions a bit... off. Almost like you're building up to nothing. Maybe that's just me though. I might add a few enormous crashes to emphasize them .

interestingly I prefer your first beat to this one i guess it could be a matter of taste.

in your first beat, everything was very clipped and crisp and sounded really sharp. In this beat you now have this sequenced electro synth sound over the top which is really 'verbed up...

to my ears it sounds incongruous with the crisp beat you have underneath. so i would either tighten up the synth sound - not sequenced, less reverb. or i would add some reverb to the beat and perhaps add a more 'liquid' bass line, pads etc.

in a nutshell - make it lush or crisp, but not a mixture of both! but that's just my opinion...

mixing and mastering sounds phat - in spite of youtube!

guess your right, i made a test with a brand new version and have my friends (make my friends?, what should i use xD?) to listen to it first, then when they heard the original one they thought this was a bad remix of two different song, what da hell xD thanks for your comment.
