a stripped down PC will work the same or better than a mac with the same specs... It's all about the programs that are on the computer and the hard drive (space and speed) if the processor, graphics card and RAM are the same. Generally windows computers just have less optimized software, often running in the background. If you know what you're doing, a pc is just fine for anything, but a more casual computer user will probably fare better with a mac.

why not? there are no unique apple components. maybe some mods and custom parts.
you can run windows on a mac, and osx on a hackintosh pc.

people with recent new and glossy apple products are hopeless. the ones with scratched macbooks or iphones are more open minded!!

Because it uses its processor in a different way. I'm in no way a professional, but i do know this from developers, and i do experience it every, every day.

I'm not going to point fingers and I'm not bitching at anyone , but there's some people here that need to learn their basic components of a computer.

The processor is not the only thing that matters. Please consider that.

Computers have motherboards, with north and south bridges. I won't get too complicated cause it really doesn't matter, but if you take a stock Windows laptop vs a stock Macbook with the same advertised specs, the Mac WILL run faster in terms of processing because the motherboard on the inside is built specifically for Macs and data processing. PC's on the other hand are built for a more rounded performance.

Think about it: With all other factors aside, one of the main reasons developers mostly build games for Windows use is because a Macintosh is not built with gaming in mind. It's
all about intended use.

for this kind of task.. djing with controller, 4 decks, stratching.. mac or pc, any will do the job.
