Yeah, that is kind of annoying, but at least you can pin an app link to the top of the timeline. I agree though, it's not very practical, but at least it looks pretty...

the fb layout is corp/business style amazing how it's still the same. embedded apps would be cool.
on the new myspace, even thought is not possible to add a custom flash player, the result is very clean, all in one page, custom html boxes. but no one's there!!

I kinda like the simplicity of the new layout, but then again I'm a geek for major websites having layout/feature changes.

I absolutely despise it. It makes it difficult to figure out and navigate. When I go on someone's page I wanna find out more about them most of the time, and the "about" page is in the most stupid spot possible. It's ridiculous. I hate the new time-line layout, the way each post is spaced out like that makes my functional/graphic design senses cringe because of all the random empty space that is going unused... It's all terrible, I don't even go on there anymore.
