How has dubstep still not died out?

Just babble on about anything in here!

dubstep is an empire. with lots of people living in it. it wont die soon.

I have some years of clubbing and I experienced great peak phases on several genres, trance, house, psy. and I'm surprised (+sad) to see how some things changed (to worse).
dubstep and edm are appealing to young people. and amazingly this young public is not picky or demanding at all :?
and that's a mine that these producers/labels/promoters are exploring.. imo. :(
quality? it's not always a must. everything goes.. or so it seams.

some people are making old school-ish dubstep again :? culprate

Isn't that the same discussion that's been around since like forever? It makes me wonder how people are constantly exposed to music they don't like...

No, it isn't. There are amazing producers out there like Culprate, Skrillex, XKore that are pushing the genre forward. Some just sit back and copy.
Peep da tunes on that picture of that hot chick with them gorgeous eyes.

It is people like them that keep the genre back...

Yet the ones that copy still get famous, which really shouldn't be. You'd expect that the genre would have developed some quality treshold over the years, but it's still like "if it's dirty it's good". Madeon is completely right.

I hope you explained it with a BITCH SLAP to the face

I think you meant BITCH SMACK :p

and while I myself am a prickish dubstep/garage elitist, i've pretty much tuned out what most people enjoy and what edm fad is currently popular. It's always been the same, just with different styles and genres, and I've learned to just ignore most people and stop caring *shrug*
