So i bought the Senheiser headphones awhile back. they are flate response, very isolating and has amazing detail espceially with high quality production commercial music. Im noticing details in songs i never thought about before and it really helps figuring out how songs are actually put together. I keep them at home and use the bass heavy ones to listen to music outside including my own music so i can check it out on "typical" headphones. As for prices i live in a pretty expencive country (my home city Trondheim was listed as the most expensive city in the world in 2012 XO) so those kind of prices are totally of if you want a just a little quality. My senheisers cost about 70£ , the bass heavy AKGs i got for christmas was about 40-50£ and even my old KOSS headphones was about 30£ and therse a huuge quality difference between the three.

Anyway the lesson i learned of all this is basically: if u dont spesiffically ask for or look for flat studio headphones, the sound is going to be colored.
