Ambient-step?

Kinda accidentally ran into this style of making music and wondered what you guys thought! All criticism is welcome, it's asked for!

This is the latest track in this style! Thanks to anyone that can give me any little tips and tracks about making electronic music! (I've only been doing it for 6 weeks)

Yeah it was good, man. The only thing I don't like is the snare. It sounds a bit too default to me. The sounds themselves were really nice, but the track felt a bit empty. Sorry for sounding harsh, I really wasn't meant to haha :)

Don't feel bad, man! All criticisms are welcome, it's what helps newbies like me learn!
Do you have any tips to help fill the track? I have a few sweeps and swells and whooshes in there at the moment.

Too heavy to be ambient (in my books anyways) really nice sounding though.

Really like this ... that is all :D
