Ambient-step?

Kinda accidentally ran into this style of making music and wondered what you guys thought! All criticism is welcome, it's asked for!

This is the latest track in this style! Thanks to anyone that can give me any little tips and tracks about making electronic music! (I've only been doing it for 6 weeks)

Yeah it was good, man. The only thing I don't like is the snare. It sounds a bit too default to me. The sounds themselves were really nice, but the track felt a bit empty. Sorry for sounding harsh, I really wasn't meant to haha

Don't feel bad, man! All criticisms are welcome, it's what helps newbies like me learn!
Do you have any tips to help fill the track? I have a few sweeps and swells and whooshes in there at the moment.

Try and maybe get some ambient sounds in there? And actually listening to it again I quite like it as it is! haha

for 6 weeks youre sounding really good man. im impressed by the quality of your mixdown, especially after such a short time spent producing. basically stick at it, this is a style of dubstep i love and I cant wait to hear you after a year.
